Following the meeting of the facilities committee with a focus on coordinating winter operations and according to the resolution of this meeting and in order to assess the readiness of Mehrabad International Airport to maintain flight safety conditions during precipitation and based on the requirements of the Civil Aviation Organization and the policies of Iran Airports and Air Navigation, the winter operations maneuver was held on November 18 .

According to Mehrabad International Airport's Public Relations, the winter operation maneuver at Mehrabad International Airport was held with the presence of Mr. Moradi, member of the board of directors and director of Mehrabad Airport, Mr. Hajibeigi, Director General of the Airport Fire and Rescue Office and Mr. Barikani, Director General of Airport Regulations Office and with the presence of the personnel of the Machinery and Handling Department of Mehrabad Airport .

This maneuver was conducted with the deployment of de-ice devices in Western apron with the presence of Iran Air Handling Company, Saman Air Services Company and Hamrah Koosha Kish Company to test the de-ice machines .
